The Issue

My phone screen timeout is set for 1 minute and so the screen goes off exactly after 1 minute forcing the video to stop playing and resumes playing the moment i turn the scree back on

Steps to reproduce

  1. download any video longer than your screen timeout
  2. start playing
  3. screen goes off and video stops playng

Expected behaviour

the screen should be on as far as the video is playing

Actual behaviour

screen goes off while video is in play and forces the video to stop

System Configuration

  • Device: Note 8 Samsung
  • Android version: 8.0
