A few issues with download notifications that need to be fixed.

  • Reduce the display length of the file name (and truncate if necessary) so that the file size information can show up in full.
  • Upon app restart, while a file is still downloading, duplicate notifications for the same file may end up being created.
  • Change the animated icon to a static icon once a download (or all downloads) are completed.
