There should be a way to display additional metadata (like the description), but this information does not need to be visible by default.

The current show page is noisy. It dedicates a lot of real estate to things that aren't the asset and draws viewer attention away from the asset. As a result, it feels preferable to share a link to the asset directly, rather than the show page. This has been done, to the extent that there is now only one show page. However, I am going to leave this issue open as we should improve the existing show page to be much sleeker, with the option to expand when more information is necessary.
