appveyor is a line-length nazi
detect authentication error and warn accordingly
remove authjsonrpc subhandlers. we dont use them
rpc works with authentication
restore one deprecated method (for now)

make sure deprecated methods still return results

remove extraneous ellipses in messages

I changed the _download_name return type without realizing that
it was also used by the watch endpoint. This switches the endpoint
to go through get so that watches can be tracked just like downloads
