163145938c qt: remove awkward way of setting GUI pages 
Selecting the button for a pages was going through bitcoingui->walletframe->walletview->bitcoingui.
Because of this, the actions for the pages had to be exposed on the BitcoinGUI object.

29a4146327 doc: remove readme-qt.md 
Now that autotools is used as a build system there is nothing

5009710994 [doc] Add testnet hidden service port to the example tor config. 
Seems like there are a lot of advertised testnet HS nodes that
don't actually work. Lack of the testnet port on the example
HS config might be one reason.

d18f5bf12c Switch the order of win32 deps and win32 qt in release-process.md 
release-process.md has the deps being built after qt. However, the descriptors for qt call for the deps file.

7048443e8b Fix and improve release-process.md 
This commit adds a step, which is to git checkout the version to be
built. This ensures that the gitian-descriptors for said version will be
the correct ones. In addition, it updates the links for several
dependencies, where the previously existing links were dead.

102518fdb7 Rename -tor to -onion to better reflect what it does. 
I've seen users confused multiple times thinking they
 should be using -tor to set their tor proxy and then
 finding in horror that they were still connecting to
 the IPv4 internet.

Even Jeff guesses wrong about what the knob does, so
 I think we should rename it. This leaves the old
 knob working, we can pull it out completely in a
 later release.

a41d5fe019 Payment Protocol: X509-validated payment requests 
Add support for a Payment Protocol to Bitcoin-Qt.

Payment messages are protocol-buffer encoded and communicated over
http(s), so this adds a dependency on the Google protocol buffer
library, and requires Qt with OpenSSL support.

f9124587cc new splash screen 
why:

- the current splash-screen has no referring to official images on - https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Promotional_graphics
- the current splash screen only exists in a low res jpg
- current splash screen looks dark and "hackish"
- new splash screen should generate positive, "trust-emotions".
- new splash screen gives the user infos about the running client.
- new splash screen can handle long messages (in a lot of - languages the text is cropped in current release)

- new size (x2) 400x312

- contains textual information about the client
- textinfos are dynamicly written to the pixmap

when -testnet is switch on, the splashscreen will show the bitcoin logo in testnet-color (as well as a text [testnet])

f95279ba79 fixes #2506: mac binary with proper version and copyright meta-informations (Info.plist) 
Due a bug in QT (https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-21267), the mac binary of the last release contains bulk meta informations.

The url-handler (bitcoin://) is also not working in current release

Should be fixed with this commit.

62e21fb5d0 Show warning when using prerelease version 
Implements #1948

- Add macro `CLIENT_VERSION_IS_RELEASE` to clientversion.h
- When running a prerelease (the above macro is `false`):
  - In UI, show an orange warning bar at the top. This will be used for other
    warnings (and alerts) as well, instead of the status bar.
  - For `bitcoind`, show the warning in the "errors" field in `getinfo`
    response.

f875921176 Bitcoin-Qt (Windows only): add version info to Resource File 
- add version information to bitcoin-qt.rc, which is displayed on Windows, when looking in the executable properties and selecting "Details"
- introduce a new clientversion.h (used in bitcoin-qt.rc to generate
  version information), which takes only the version defines from
  version.h and is included in it (to allow usage with the windres rc-file
  compiler)
- move #define STRINGIFY(s) #s into clientversion.h as that is used in
  bitcoin-qt.rc and rename to DO_STRINGIZE(X)
- add #define STRINGIZE(X) DO_STRINGIZE(X), which is needed to convert the
  version defines into a version string in the rc-file
- this ensures we only need to update 1 file and have bitcoin-qt.exe
  version information

23aa78c405 IPv6 node support 
This will make bitcoin relay valid routable IPv6 addresses, and when
USE_IPV6 is enabled, listen on IPv6 interfaces and attempt connections
to IPv6 addresses.

a20c0d0f67 Build identification strings 
All client version information is moved to version.cpp, which optionally
(-DHAVE_BUILD_INFO) includes build.h. build.h is automatically generated
on supporting platforms via contrib/genbuild.sh, using git describe.

The git export-subst attribute is used to put the commit id statically
in version.cpp inside generated archives, and this value is used if no
build.h is present.

The gitian descriptors are modified to use git archive instead of a
copy, to create the src/ directory in the output. This way,
src/src/version.cpp will contain the static commit id. To prevent
gitian builds from getting the "-dirty" marker in their git-describe
generated identifiers, no touching of files or running sed on the
makefile is performed anymore. This does not seem to influence
determinism.

4efbda3f25 Added 'Backup Wallet' menu option 
- icon from the LGPL Nuvola set (like the tick) - http://www.icon-king.com/projects/nuvola/
- include 'boost/version.hpp' in db.cpp so that the overwrite version of copy can be used
- catch exceptions in BackupWallet (e.g. filesystem_error thrown when trying to overwrite without the overwrite flag set)
- include db.h in walletmodel.cpp for BackupWallet function
- updated doc/assets-attribution.txt and contrib/debian/copyright with copyright info for new icon

471426fb3b Fixed potential deadlocks in GUI code. 
Also changed semantics of CWalletTx::GetTxTime(); now always returns the time the transaction was received by this node, not the average block time.
And added information about -DDEBUG_LOCKORDER to coding.txt.
