The Issue

We recently made some improvements to download failure notifications (https://github.com/lbryio/lbry-desktop/pull/1768) but looks like we are running into a bug in the below scenario. You can still click "View" but it doesn't have the right color/mouseover.

  1. Click play on lbry://oldmovie
  2. Navigate away, wait 5 minutes
  3. Go back to lbry://oldmovie
  4. Notice the app shows connecting and the play button is greyed out.

The status should reset. If we want to be really creative, we should show some text on the file page that it failed to download previously, and to try again later.

This still happens on the new video player (without floating player, or when you leave the page and start another video).
