The Issue

Not sure if this applies to Linux or Mac, but the windows installer does not allow the user to select an installation directory. If users are concerned about this, then they will also be concerned with the data directories we have as well.
This could pose some downstream issues in terms of support or reinstall.

Steps to reproduce

1 . Install lbry
2. Installs to default program files directory as well as data directory.

Expected behaviour

Allow choice of install path, data path?

Actual behaviour

Tell us what happens instead

System Configuration

  • LBRY Daemon version:
  • LBRY App version:
  • LBRY Installation ID:
  • Operating system:

How does our installer actually work? Is it possible this is as simple as an electron-builder flag?
