There's been a lot of confusion around this process since the thumbnail doesn't show initially.

  • would be nice to see the thumbnail as soon as it's uploaded (the URL won't resolve, but Android handles this)

  • On desktop, the broken link is cached, and it takes a while before you can see the thumbnail. Clearing cache does not help, sometimes you have to clear the LBRY cache folder if it doesn't clear

  • A user reported updating a channel 5 times before the image took - it may have been somme caching issue, or it wasn't taking the thumb (i checked the first update and it used an existing thumb, so not sure what went wrong there).
