To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to upload screen
  2. Click on upload (sometimes it crashes immediately here too.)
  3. Once the windows explorer pops up the app crashes to desktop, it still seems to run in task manager however.
  4. See log file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NqwYc1HLD4D9iVm5_5io1BB_JJs6l2DV/view?usp=sharing

Windows 11 with all latest versions of LBRY etc.

Is this still happening?
Can you make sure that you are on the latest version 0.53.9?

Still happening, I am on the latest version. Given up uploading to LBRY entirely. Unless this issue is resolved I'm saving my LBC purely in the hopes it may reach all-time highs one day at which point I'm out. Really had high hopes for this above all other crypto projects. =(

Could you try to start the app from command line, and see if it outputs any errors there when the crash happens?
And also share lbrynet.log which includes that run?

Same problem. I'm using the fork by paveloom-f on Win10. Yesterday it still worked for me. Today it crashes to desktop when I use the upload page of the client.
